Having suffered from massive obesity (BMI > 50) for over 15 years, I was discriminated against by society and developed metabolic diseases that hampered my quality of life. Since meeting the ECOL (SCOL) team, I feel psychologically better and I will help patients going through the same situation as me to move forward and lift this taboo to save their lives.
